Triveni Ghat remains overcrowded with devotee to take ritual baths to get cleansed from their sins. Being the most venerated ghat in Rishikesh, Triveni Ghat is even used by devotees to perform the last rites and rituals of their loved ones. The ghat is famed for the Ganga aarti performed to the chants of Vedic hymns. The sight of oil leaves, filled with diya and petals, which are released by devotees, floating on the pristine Ganga and the traditional aarti is a sight to behold.

Ram jhula
Ram Jhula (Hindi: राम झूला) is an iron suspension bridge across the river Ganges, located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) north-east from the center of the city of Rishikesh in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The bridge connects the Sivananda Nagar area of Muni Ki Reti in the Tehri Garhwal district to the Swargashram area of Rishikesh in the Pauri Garhwal district, crossing the river from west to east. Built in the year 1986, the bridge is one of the iconic landmarks of Rishikesh. There are many Hindu ashrams and religious centers established on both sides of the Ganges

kunjapuri
One of the top attractions in Tehri Gharwal is Kunjapuri Temple, which offers visitors a panoramic view of the Garhwal Himalayan peaks, including Swarga Rohini, Gangotri, Banderpunch, and Chaukhamba to the north and Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Doon Valley to the south. These peaks are all associated with mythical beings and goddesses. The sanctuary Kunjapuri is situated on the highest point of the hill Kunjapuri, which is 1,676 metres high. It is 7 kilometres from Narendra Nagar, 15 kilometres from Rishikesh, and 93 kilometres from Devaprayag, favouring onlookers. Many thousands of people visit this important sacred site every year, notably during the 'Navratras' (April and October). The Dussehra festival features large celebrations.

Vashishta Gufa
Vashishtha cave is situated on the banks of the river Ganga at a distance of 16 km from Rishikesh. Vashishtha Cave is an ancient cave situated on the Rishikesh-Badrinath road in Uttarakhand. It is situated at an altitude of about 2000 feet above sea level. It is a popular place for meditation lovers. Vashishtha Cave was relatively unknown to the world until 1930, when Swami Purushothamananda, who spent a major part of his life in Kerala, discovered the cave. It is believed that Shri Swami Purushottamanand ji visited this cave in the year 1930 and now his ashram is situated close to Vashishtha cave, where meditation is practised. Presently Swami Purushottamanand Trust manages this cave. Some rooms remain outside the cave area, where many sadhus are living permanently. Currently, Swami Chaitanyanand Ji (disciple of Swami Purshottamanand) is the head of the ashram.
